It's been awhile since I posted. I've been taking advantage of dry days by working on my flower beds and such. Yesterday it was pouring cats and dogs again so I thought it would be a good day to go to daughter Amanda's and paint that wall mural she has been wanting for grandson's room. Later I stopped by the thrift store. I am trying to find some trinkets for a chandelier idea that is burning in my mind. It will be posted later when I get it finished. Anyway, here are a few pictures of the OREGON TRAIL map I painted in Grandmunchkin's adorable western bedroom and the few items I purchased at the T-store. Enjoy!

Hi, Katydid. I saw your comment at PW's site and was intrigued because I also call myself Katydid (sometimes). When I got here, I saw that we had the same blogger template and are about the same age. I want to tell you that if you visit my site, I can think of one site that you'll love. Her name is Mary and she's fantastic! Very popular in the bloggie world. Her site is on my left column and is called Little Red House. She is also a collector such as yourself. Did you do that to your bunny love picture with the border? I never tried a white border like that and think it looks great. So good to meet you!
Your mural turned out great! I LOVE the burnt edges. When I married my cowboy years ago I made the invitations and we burned the edges of them. What a lucky little boy to have that fun bedroom!
