Too wet to mow so I painted cabinets

This is not a real clear picture. I was really happy with the finished look.

Here is what they looked like before I painted them. My whole house has these same cabinets. Yuck!



Here is another "after" pic.

I painted the cabinets a buttery white and then went over them with a brown stain. I immediately wiped them down letting the stain stay in the grooves to give an antique look. Afterwards I distressed them a little. I was quite surprised that Hubby liked them. I can hardly wait to do more now!
