Peach Preserve Day

Oklahoma Peach Preserves
Oklahoma peaches are some of the finest tasting peaches that I know of. Unfortunately, you have to practically take out a second mortgage to buy a bushel of them in Porter because they want almost $50!! Anyway, I found some for $.98 a lb. at WallyWorld and grabbed up enough to make a fresh pie and some preserves. This morning I got 5 pints of Peach Preserves made.
Mmmmmm! Talk about good!!
Fall Silk and Dried Flower Arrangement
I went in to the Dollar Tree ( I looooove the Dollar Tree, don't you?) anyway, just to buy some white tissue paper for my LilShabbyChic Boutique business. Well have you ever walked out of the Dollar Tree with one item? I ended up spending $25. Part of my purchase was the silky flowers in this Fall arrangement in the picture above. Recognize the little overnight case from a previous post? I also used some of those dried roses from birthday/anniversary/Mothers Day in the arrangement.
I am so ready for Fall. ~sigh~

I love the dollar tree! Going to the dollar tree is a lot like going to the grocery store- you go for one thing and then end up filling your whole cart! Looks like you had some great finds!
