The bargain of the day was this antique desk and chair! Eagle-Eye Lulu spotted this one. See the paint color of the chair? The desk was that color too! Lulu wanted it white. She wants to use it as a vanity in her room. It is very cute!

Please don't roll your eyes like that. I just could not pass up this awesome vintage suitcase! It is a mustard color trimmed in brown. I will store my old newspapers (some of them go back as far as 1939) in it and stack it with some other vintage suitcases. I have a few more you know.

Wallpaper border. I can hardly ever turned down a good rooster/chicken print so when I saw this border I knew I had to have it. I can use the prints for pictures or decoupage' something.

I also found the neatest little cream colored photograph book. You know the kind with the black crepe paper pages that you use the little adhesive corner tabs to hold your photos. I had great plans for it but I guess through the process of loading desk and all into the car (I need a pick-up truck, folks) I must have left the photograph book in the shopping basket. phtttpt!
