All day in the kitchen

Picked some apples
Peeled and cored
Placed them on the drying racks
Dried Apple Slices
Tuscan Tomato Soup
from my Williams-Sonoma Soup Cookbook
Fresh French Bread...(sniff) Mmmmm...
Supper: Soup and toasted french bread
Wild Possum Grapes
Dessert: French Bread and Possum Grape Jelly!

Just found your blog and want to thank you for sharing. It's great! I'm finding much of interest as my wife and I have also recently "moved back to the country."
Just yesterday I picked a bunch of possum grapes thinking they would be good for jelly or winemaking. The problem I encountered in attempting to process them was getting them separated from the stems. How have found this best accomplished? Thanks.
