Aaron and his nephew Chantry
Happy Birthday, yesterday Aaron

While I am suppose to be "deep" cleaning my house because company's comin' next Thursday I happened to noticed the "free" tote that I received at Ladies Retreat. It came with an ink pen, emory board, a little post-it notebook. We usually get a tasty snack but this year we didn't and I will have to say I felt a bit cheated! I mean for the $30 registration fee couldn't they have thrown in a bag of chips!? Ok, anyway...cute tote but it just seem to NEED something. So...

Glued some STUFF on it. The ladies in the picture happen to be my aunts. They loved their lipstick back in their day. I just loved these women. Aunt Florence and Aunt Iney.
Kiss kiss Hug hug, aunties!

I thought you might want a close-up of the quote.

These little 4"x 4" post-it notebooks came in our canvas bags at Ladies Retreat. I felt strong in my heart that they were very boring and needed a little doodie-ing up.

I had an old Reader's Digest book laying around (yeah, with about 1/2 million other old books) found some cool tidbits in it and thus created the following.

1st notebook

The back of 1st notebook

2nd little post-it note book (I forgot to remove the bits of glue so don't look at that)

The back of second notebook

Collection of gawdawful advertising fridge magnets

Cut up said fridge magnets

This is the result of remade fridge magnets. I used a hot glue gun to put the music sheet paper on first. Next I glued on little miss priss (got this pic out of the old Reader's Digest) and then added the words. I would love to do more but I have to clean the house. Pooey!

Kelly, I had to look twice at the picture of Aunt Florence, she looks so much like Mom in that picture. I didn't realize they resembled each other so much. Thanks for sharing the picture, as always your creativity amazes me! Wish I had a tenth of it... : )
And I am with you, so much to do, but I'd rather not as well.
