I took a little road trip yesterday through Kansas. Baby girl wanted to meet up with her beau and so I was the taxi. After I dumped her off I enjoyed the rest of the day stopping wherever I wanted. Fun, fun, fun!

This was a wall mural of past governors (I think) of KS. I thought it was photo worthy. Burlington, KS

A neat old theater in Burlington. I think it is vacant. Any takers?

This store was awesome! It was chock full of cool stuff and had a little bistro inside. I will definitely go back there again! I bought a nice little house warming gift for my daughter. If she reads my blog and comments about the gift I will give it to her. Haha!

It is weird that I thought this old silver trailer house was cool and that I thought it would be fun to own.

There were lots of homes like this one. I want this!

I have been searching high and low for a mirror for the new bathroom. Yesterday I stopped in a little shop in KS and was admiring this mirror and the lady working there asked me if I wanted it. "Are you giving it away?" I asked. Yep!
I will probably paint and crackle finish this baby and put it in my new bathroom. Pictures later!

Really, I did not need another piece of old luggage but this was too awesome to pass up! It will probably end up in my new bathroom. Maybe...

I loved the saying on this wooden cutting board. It will hang boldly in my new kitchen someday!

I have a weakness for metal colanders.

Last but not least I could not resist this tea towel with the painted embroidered turkey. I will save this for Thanksgiving holiday. Oh, I only gave .50 for it!

What great finds. Sounds like you enjoyed your road trip. Do you use the metal colanders for anything specific or just collect them?
Gardener, I did enjoy my little trip. About the colanders. I don't have very many but I saw where someone made a hanging planter out of one. I would like make one. If I get around to it. :)
That would be cute!
Wow, what a score with the mirror. I mean you can't beat free! Love the suitcase. I don't think you can have too many!
Now onto the glue gun. That is too funny that your daughter opts for that! I might have to do that from now on since I broke my needle, lol!

Clutter? no gift for you, girl. I will keep it. haha!
I do like all your stuff you got! I like the rooster thing and the turkey dish towel the best.
I had to see if your daughter commented. It is neat that she reads your blog. Love the free mirror.
