I was so excited when River City Trading Post called me about a month ago and told me that they had a booth available for me. I jumped on that like ugly on an ape! Of course, I knew that I would really have to get busy and work my fingers to the bone to have enough merchandise to put in it by the first of October. It seemed like one thing after another presented itself to where I could not work the way I wanted to. Most things were silly everyday stuff but then we got bad news. We lost my mother in law last week. She was a very precious woman. A true Christian and a prayer warrior. And she was a wonderful mom in law that I know loved me.
Here she is with her first four children. She had 4 girls, 4 boys in all.

Last Wednesday I was able to get my booth at RCTP. I had so much fun arranging things the way I wanted. I will keep it in a Halloween theme for a few weeks and then move on more to Thanksgiving and Christmas.
I have tweaked it a bit since this photo and hung some of my photo plaques on the wall and added a few more things.
Meet Bonetta! She will keep an eye (socket) on things when I'm not there.
I really wanted to do the SUGAR MOON BARN SALE on Route 66 near Yukon, OK. last week but I did not think I would have enough time to put a good show together as it was a three day event. However, I was able to attend the event and it was AWESOME! My best buddy and I loaded up and hit the road the first night and had a blast! There was a band playin' country music and a table loaded down with yummy food and the booths were full of fabulous furniture, antiques and hand made crafts! There having another one in November and if I can get my rear in gear I am determined to have a booth there.
Crazy Halloween Stuff. He looks a little dangerous!
I guess that is part of the Hospitality Committee waving up there!
This booth had some lovely junk. Really!!
Ain't got no body! Since you've been gone! la la la!!
I love this bony guy on the Bed Springs chandelier. He was wearing a sock monkey hat! Haha!
That's me (on the right) and my precious girl pal Vicki.
Just a reminder... October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and she is a survivor.
And we are so very thankful for that.

very nice display - did you make all those items? I used to do craft shows when I was able to be a stay-at-home mom. They were so much fun.
November will be amazing! Wait till you see what we have planned. Thanks for blogging about the barn sale.
