My sister's in-laws actually used this insulated galvanized milk box back in the 50's. The inside is damaged. I am thinking of setting it on my front porch and using it as a planter. 
Look at all this galvanized "stuff"! I have so many ideas on how to use each piece. I just need to get busy and do it!
My sister gave me an old FREE sewing machine and stand a few weeks ago. The cabinet and machine was totally ruined from years of sitting outside in the weather. I painted the metal stand and set it in my flower bed.

You did hit the mother load! I love the look of galvanized things in the garden...takes me back to my child hood. And the sewing machine planter is a great idea.
