I wanted to take my shocks of corn stalks and various other items to the Farmers Market in Podunkville tomorrow.Friday, August 27, 2010
It makes me crazy when...
I plan to do something and someone (usually my sweet hubby or one of my many adorable grown children) has made other plans for me.
I wanted to take my shocks of corn stalks and various other items to the Farmers Market in Podunkville tomorrow.
I just know that since we have been having cooler temperatures EVERYONE is wanting to start decorating their yards with "Fall-ish" things. Am I too early? Am I "jumping the gun". And what does that mean anyway?
I wanted to take a buckets of fresh cut sunflowers to sell too! They brighten any room and they just scream FALL!
But alas, I will be as busy as a bee tomorrow morning painting, painting, painting. The good thing is that our remodeling project is getting closer to being complete!

I would love some of your corn stalks and sunflowers!! Hope you get to sell them soon, I am sure everyone would love them! Happy painting.
I love your Betty Davis picture. That is exactly how I feel sometimes. Tomorrow I actually have a "non family" day, I get to work in my yard and do what I want...which also involves painting my bathroom. Good luck on your painting endeavors.
Kelly, not to burst your bubble (ha ha) but atleast need to wait until the first weekend after Labor Day. :p love you
POP! There went my bubble!
Just kidding, Stacey! The weekend after Labor Day will be perfect. It is the next Farmer's Market day at Podunkville. I doubt if I will have fresh sunflowers then but I WILL have dried ones!
Thanks for all the comments, my friends.
Kelly
you can't go the weekend after labor day. I have plans for you.
