In a pickle

We have managed to grow cucumbers during all this drought. I finally had enough to make a batch of pickles. I was wanting a sweet crisp garlic dill with a little zing. I combined a sweet pickle recipe that my aunt gave me and added a kosher dill pickle mix, extra garlic and a hot pepper. They turned out so delicious! I only made 6 quarts this round. Hopefully I can make more later.
I sure will be glad when this hot spell is over! It has been unbearable!

Thoughts and prayers for my blogger friend, Kathy

That sounds amazing! Zesty sweet pickles is mine and Garys favorite! I bet these are so good! I just bought a jar from the Mennonite store on wed and they are half gone :(
