Weddin' Pics

11-11-11 only comes around every one hundred years so...let's have a wedding. Let's let mom know about it on 11-09-11. Watch mom and sis scurry around and put a small wedding together in less than 48 hours. Let's go shopping for the perfect dress, shoes and veil 24 hours before the special day. Gotta get a cake ordered and gather everything we need for a reception as quick as possible. Grab an old metal arch and wrap it with burlap, fall foliage and lights. Make two topiaries with pumpkins and winter squash and more burlap and lights! Put it all together without a wedding rehearsal . Call the family and close friends and tell them to lay aside Friday nights plans because we are having a wedding for the sweetest couple
Allison Bundy and Darin Smith II

My beautiful girl on her day

Mom and Sis's work of art!

Darin's dad officiated the wedding. He pastor's the church we attend.
Darin (Dee) was one nervous groom.
I think his family was teasing him a bit before his bride came down the aisle.
This a lovely picture.

Unfortunately, the photographer did not get any shots of the Father of the Bride walking her down the aisle and giving her away.
We were very disappointed but no use crying over it now.

Pastor Smith (Dee's dad) and Allison's daddy praying God's blessing on
Allison and Dee as husband and wife.

The vows
The KISSMy grandson Chantry watching Aunt "Addie" get married

Little Chase not understanding why he can't get down and go play.

The Couple

Cake and Punch... and cupcakes!
Allison always wanted cupcakes at her wedding!

I ordered this cake from Walmart and was very pleased.
It was very good!
So cute!

I see a little revenge in her eyes.
Watch out, Dee!

Haha!

Looks like the groom is doing some serious thinking.
The lady to the right of him is his mother.
Dee's grandma with the newly weds

Allison and her best friend Jessica Johnson

Mother of the Bride

Our Family
My youngest son Zachary was out of town working and missed
out on this special occasion.

(Photographer ruined most shots of photos of Dee's family.
Was not happy about this but what do you do?)

Sneaking another kiss

Ummm... I think they like each other

Mr and Mrs Smith

And so they begin their Happy Ever After life together

Oh my goodness! This is sooooo lovely, everything from the fact that they decide to do to take the plunge at the last minute to the dress, decorations for the church, cake, cupcakes - everything!! Kelly, I wish we lived closer. I KNOW we'd be best friends! You have the neatest ideas, and such a beautiful family.

Thanks for the comments Connie, Kathie and Amanda.
Kathie, I am sure we would be great friends and probably get into some serious trouble! haha! I wish you could have been with my daughter Amanda and I the day of the wedding. We drove out in the country trying to find just the right colorful branches for the arch. It got quite (scary) but funny! I have pics but she won't allow me to post them. hehe!
