@Gardener on Sherlock Street...The gourd birdhouses are easy peasy. Just cut a little hole in them for bird entrance and shake out as many of the gourd seeds as you can.

Hi Katy, I just stumbled onto your blog, while out surfing. I too am a thrift store shopper. It is so much fun when you stumble across a truly wonderful find. I love your gourd birdhouse and isn't it fun watching the birds. We have a squirrel that has made our backyard his home this winter. We think that there is only one, because we have only seen one (or one at a time LOL). I'm looking forward to seeing the things you made for the craft show.
