Well, it has almost been a year since I posted anything on my blog. I have thought a lot about why I started this blog several years ago. I thought it would be cool to have a blog. I thought it would be a great place to post the good, bad and ugly of this house we bought from my in-laws. That in itself has been interesting. We have been remodeling this house since we moved here in 2006. It was a mess. Not to speak bad of my in-laws because they did the best they could. It just got away from them. My mother-in-law became very ill and everyone was at their wits end on what would be the best way to help out. Some of their ideas were great and some went sour (to put it mildly).
So much has happened since we moved here. My kids are all grown and gone out on their own. There have been marriages and divorces and talks of marriage. Only three grandchildren but they adored grandchildren.
My hubby has been nonstop busy trying to get the house finished. He has made it beautiful. Right now he is in the middle of adding on a huge front porch. I don't think the projects will ever stop. Oh well, such is life.
