Wow, it has been a while! I've decided to start blogging again. The kids are grown and gone and the grandkids are getting too big from Gammie and Poppa (since hand-held electronic games came along, UGH!) Anyway, I am home a lot so I decided to start blogging again. You know, I think blogging is fun but it's kind of weird. It's basically an open personal diary to the world, right? Anyway, I will try to stay fun and interesting. Now a little about our nest...

Our Nest
We bought this house in 2007. It belonged to my husbands parents but they were no longer able to stay here and keep it up. Let me tell you, a house that needed a total makeover and 5 acres to keep is nothing to sniff at. It has been a lot of work, which my husband has done 99% of it himself. Yes, I have tried to help along the way but he has all the muscle power. I can pick out flooring, tile, paint etc. etc. and am also good at fetching whatever he needs. We are almost finished but there's a few eyesores that need attention soon. It looks amazing so far and we love it out here.
Our favorite home improvement has been our new front porch that he and his brothers
added on. This is our third summer to enjoy it. This is a side view.
I will be posting new photos of our life on the Bunderosa of our projects, our chickens, our grandkids, my flowers and his vegetable garden. I hope you will peek in from time to time and if you become a follower you will leave a sweet comment.
