There are a lot of things going on in our political world right now that is making me very sad. So today I decided to post something beautiful and positive. My red lion amaryllis. This is my second amaryllis this winter season. The first one bloomed before Christmas. I happened upon one lone red lion at Ace Hardware and snatched it up. It looked a little sad but when I got it home and put the water to it it perked right up. Right now it is looking quite gorgeous and I might even get 12 blooms out of it as it has 3 bloom stems! What a treat that will be! Here it is at the first 4 blooms.
