I don't blog often. It seems to have gone out of style since Facebook and Instagram. Trying to leave Facebook has been hard. I know it will be very weird not getting all of those likes from people I never see or talk to in person. I have really grown tired of that fake life. Have I been fake? Not much. Have I had to hold back on my true thoughts and feelings? I think so. I know that this blog is probably being monitered like everything else on the net but I guess this is really my last try. Soon I will go back to talking to my cat about all of the worlds problems. Uh, I am rambling. But I can if I want to.
Anyway, we had a pretty good year in 2021. We took a nice vacation to the east coast. Traveled through several states. It was really fun. Stayed in some nice hotels and a couple of horrible hotels. I mean Horrible. Like Psycho horrible. More about that later. I took some lovely pictures. We enjoyed the Adirondacks, the Niagara Falls, upstate New York, Vermont was gorgeous, Portland, Maine was fun (sorta), Gloucester, Mass. was absolutely beautiful, didn't get to enjoy Boston at all (boo), then the traffic was horrid on through New York until we headed to Pennsylvania. We stayed in Bird in Hand, Pennsylvania and visited there and Intercourse for a day. It was very enlightening of the Amish community. Then we headed home. We planned to stay two weeks but ended up only 10 days. All in all, it was a great vacation.
A couple of weeks after that we went to Arkansas. We had a beautiful drive through Dover on into Marshall. The fall colors were peak. We stayed in a cabin a couple of nights. It was the cutest cabin and we had the best time. I hope we can do that again. I am a cabin girl from here on out. haha!
Then we came back to celebrate Tiger's second birthday on Halloween day. She had the cutest birthday party at Mounds park. Two Groovy was the theme.
November meant Fall decor, our oldest two had birthdays and then a nice Thanksgiving.
December we celebrated our Chantry's 16th birthday! How did that happen?!? Then Christmas.
And here we are in the year 2022. Really, HOW did that happen so fast?
In two days we will celebrate our baby girls 31st birthday!
How did that happen so fast? Another year of celebrating all of my loves special day. Four kiddos and six beautiful grands. One almost 70 year old hubby. With God's help it will be a good year.
