Oh, the 50's. The decade of which I was born. 
This pattern is pretty old. Must be the early 40's. Think about it. Betty Grable, wow! And it was only 15 cents!
I can definetly remember this style. The "shift". How 'bout that long vest, too? Gotta love the 70's
