Yesterday my family surprised me with a birthday party! My birthday is next Wednesday but you know how mid-week events go. Anyway, my daughter Amanda got the whole thing together. Hubby grilled his famous Burgers n' hotdogs yumm! Amanda made delicious Peach Tea, birthday cupcakes and a scrumptious Melon Basket! Earlier in the week my sweet Aunt Phyllis sent me a quilt that she had made. Was I ever surprised! What a treasure! Then my mother gave me another quilt that my dear Aunt Audrey had pieced together. It is gorgeous! I can hardly wait until cold wearther just so I can wrap up in those quilts! Lots of other sweet gifts! I had a wonderful day! I love birthdays!!!

Queen Birthday Girl and my little helper grandson, ChantryJust up the road and to the right is the BIG 5-0. Interstate 50. I-50. I will be 50 next week. OMG! I can hardly believe it but it is true. And I thank God for every day that I have lived and hope He grants me another healthy 50 years ahead! More pictures later! I'm tired!
