Thriftin' Thursday

My very, very favorite find of the day was this GORGEOUS platter! Just look at it!

I will probably hang it on the wall. $3.50

This tray with the attached bowl will be perfect to make a fruit or veggie tray and put the dip in the center bowl. It really is pretty! I need to have a party so I can use it. I gave $5 for it.

I could not pass up this old retro Coleman cooler! It was in great condition for only $2.50

I might resale or maybe I will keep it. I dunno. I just liked, okay?

I really liked this clay pot with the metal holder thingy.

I thought it would look great with some Fall mums. $2

Lulu and I went thriftin' and shopping for fabric yesterday. I found some great treasures + cool fabric for aprons and purses (see my other website). While we were out we saw some very funny, funny things. Example: two very redneck women sitting on the tailgate of a truck parked on a slightly busy thoroughfare with Avon signs poked in the ground. I guess with gas prices so high it is cheaper just to park on the corner and sell Avon than it is to drive from house to house.

Ding-dong..."Avon, calling"! Lulu tried to get a picture (then I could have shared with it you) but the batteries went dead in her camera. Jeff Foxworthy would have truly loved it!
